Sep. 2nd, 2011 09:33 pmBrief, today. Doctor Who fanvid edition.
This is the greatest fanmade trailer I've seen in ages. Oh my God, I would KILL to see this crossover - Sherlock/Doctor Who - happen. And this is SO, so, so well done.
( The Sound of Drums )
Chameleon Circuit at VidCon 2011. I admit I have a soft spot for Simm!Master, and I love this song. This is a good recording of it, where you can hear the audience singing without it drowning out Liam, and - possibly my favorite part - right when the music starts up, the entire audience starts clapping the drum rhythm. It's amazing. This song always kind of gives me goosebumps anyway, if I'm being honest. Also? "REGENERAAAAAAAATE!!!"
( The Doctor is Dying ) Of one my other favorites off "Still Got Legs," lead vocals by my love Alex Day - and including a brief interlude of "I Need a Doctor," which is pretty awesome ;)
( Silence and the End of All Things ) Also by Chameleon Circuit, this song brought tears to my eyes the first time I heard it. This is a simple fanvideo (not a performance) that does a nice job matching up the song lyrics to the scenes of the show (and gave me a new respect for how grounded in canon all the songs are, because it's been a year and half or so since I watched this string of episodes, and wow, the songs are really spot on).
That shall be all for tonight, ladies and gents, I'm pretty exhausted and I'm looking forward to simply vegging out and doing some websurfing before an early bedtime.
