Schedule Sunday
Sep. 18th, 2011 10:54 pm1. Mailing out my two penpal letters and buying stamps.
2. Tuesday I'm meeting up with my sister and Steve at my mom's house around 4:30. I have to bring her birthday gift, which I showed her at Darrel's wedding, but which I had to keep in my car because it was pouring so hard out. It's a handmade card and a book of recipes/photographs called Kinky Cupcakes.
3. Wednesday night is the first session of the second of three Math classes I need for my M.Ed., and on of the final four classes I need before I can student teach. Huzzah, light at the end of the tunnel.
4. Saturday there's a huge yard sale at a local school (40 tables of merch!), and afterwards we're joining Amanda for dinner for her 30th birthday.
I'm trying to get back on track with posting something everyday, whether it's just the pre-determined "themed" post of something more substantial, and I'm feeling better about being able to handle it this coming week, now that I'm back in a routine (so long as I don't fall asleep).
So long as I'm making a list-centric post, what else might I say?
♥ Made my favorite peanut butter cookies from the simplest recipe ever: 1 cup of peanut butter, 1 cup of granulated sugar, and one egg. 350 degrees for about 15ish minutes. Melt in your mouth, mmm. I had three, and had to have Andy take them away before I ate more.
♥ Moffat was nominated for a Best Writing in a Miniseries for "A Study in Pink," but didn't win. PEOPLE WILL SUFFER AS A RESULT OF THIS.
♥ So, while no one was able to provide me with Picard/Q fic, I managed to find an author by the name of Varoneeka, who has written the pairing extensively. It's pretty heavy handed (I was hoping for much more subtle stuff), but it is the porniest porn that ever porned, and oh Lord, if nothing else, it is hot. Like, stay-up-until-2-in-the-morning-reading-under-the-covers hot. If graphic gay sex is your thing (and lot's of it), then check it out.
♥ MUSKRAT JAMBOREE HAS ANNOUNCED THE 2013 CONVENTION! March 22 & 23, at Le Meridien Hotel in Central Square. I know it's a year-and-a-half away but I'm ridiculously excited already.
