Fandom Friday

Perhaps there will be more later. I am at my parent's house for a visit, waiting for them to come home. I have read this in the interim. It is less of a punch in the gut (like "Alone on the Water") and more of a slow-building ache.

Trimmed and Burning by achycarnations at AO3. Major character death. Short, beautiful.
