The Deepest Secret Nobody Knows, by
flecalicious. A Sherlock fic that explores the relationship between Sally Donovan and Sherlock and explains what she meant when she said that Sherlock "Would always let you down." Really beautifully written, it makes Donovan sympathetic and neither glorifies or excuses Sherlock, nor makes him a monster -- everyone gets to be themselves, and we get to understand and appreciate them more for it. The ending is heartbreaking, as everything in the Sherlock fandom that isn't pur crack has tended to be lately.
Like a Teddy Bear, by Demon-Panda. Sherlock: Argh, so the Earth goes round the sun - if we went around the moon, or round and round the garden like a teddy bear, it wouldn't make any difference! From a totally throw-away (and funny!) line in The Great Game comes a study in the relationship of Sherlock and Mycroft. It is, of course, a lump-in-the-throat kind of fic, but it is understated and sweet and, oh. I love reading about the Holmes brothers as kids, and I'm so looking forward to more Sherlock/Mycroft in the next series.
And finally, Daniel Radcliffe's new movie, The Woman in Black, has finally released it's official trailer, and - as if you din't already know this - I totally have to go see it.
